Zalgiris Kaunas players arrived in Lithuania one after another, while landing at Vilnius Airport on Sunday.

Matt Mitchell arrived in Lithuania already a week ago, and yesterday Ignas Brazdeikis was the first to land in Vilnius.

“I’m excited to be back in Lithuania, it feels great. I am looking forward to the new season. I’ve put a lot of work in this summer, I worked on a lot of elements of my game. I hope to be the best version of myself and help the team,” said Brazdeikis.

Brady Manek also returned to Lithuania, as this will be his second season in Kaunas.

Two more Zalgiris foreigners Serbian Alen Smailagic and American Tyrone Wallace arrived at the airport later.

The last to land at Vilnius Airport were Frenchman Sylvain Francisco and American Bryant Dunston.

The Zalgiris players are undergoing medical check-ups on Monday, a day of physical tests on Tuesday and the team will have its first training session on 21 August. On 4 and 8 September, Zalgiris will also play its first friendly matches, which will be broadcast live on Zalgiris Insider.
