All Zalgiris Kaunas players have gathered in Kaunas, and are getting ready for the new season. Most of them had their medical check-ups on Monday.
This year, the Zalgiris players were tested by the team’s long-time partners - Gijos Klinikos, which provides modern medical services.
“I thought I would feel worse because of my sleep schedule, but everything was good enough. I’m happy to be here and eager to get started. I spent a lot of time at home, but I had space to do sports, and I also worked on the basketball elements. I was focused on being a stronger person and athlete,” said Brady Manek, who returned to Kaunas for his second season.
The team will have its first training session on 21 August. On 4 and 8 September, Zalgiris will play its first friendly matches, which will be broadcast live on Zalgiris Insider.
