Zalgiris Kaunas (18-1) team defeated Nevezis-Paskolų klubas Kedainiai (6-13) 91-67 (18-16, 24-13, 26-21, 23-17) on the road.

Edgaras Ulanovas scored the first points of the match, but the hosts responded with ten in a row, 2-10. Azuolas Tubelis, Ulanovas, Laurynas Birutis, and Sylvain Francisco quickly closed the gap, 10-13. Tubelis connected from long range, Birutis scored again after a pass from Maodo Lo, Giedraitis added a free throw, and Sleva put Zalgiris ahead just before the end of the first quarter, 18-16.

Mantas Rubstavicius scored 4 points, Ignas Brazdeikis added another, Giedraitis sank some free throws, and Ulanovas and Tubelis finished off the 15-0 run with two-pointers, 30-16. Sleva corrected his teammate’s inaccurate shot, Francisco made free throws and assisted Ulanovas’s three-pointer, 37-20. Francisco scored from long range, Moses Wright broke through under the basket, 42-29.

At the start of the third quarter, Birutis and Tubelis scored 4 points each, while Brazdeikis and Sleva added two each, 54-38. Wright made a powerful dunk over his opponent’s head, Rubstavicius hit a three-pointer from the corner, 59-43. Sleva made free throws, Ulanovas hit a two-pointer, and Brazdeikis scored 5 points in a row, 68-50.

The fourth quarter opened with a long-range shot by Rubstavicius, Sleva scored 8 points in a row, and Wright increased the lead to 32 points, 82-50. Dominykas Grunkis also opened his scoring account, while Wright and Rubstavicius made free throws, with the latter also adding a three-pointer, which became the last points for Zalgiris in the victorious game, 91-67.

Sleva led the scorers with 16 points. Rubstavicius had 14 points, while Ulanovas and Tubelis added 11 points each.
