Zalgiris Kaunas won another Betsafe-LKL game at home. Andrea Trinchieri’s team defeated CBet Jonava by 101-64 (19-10, 27-13, 27-25, 28-16) at Zalgirio Arena.

Laurynas Birutis started the game with a powerful dunk, Lonnie Walker IV scored five points in a row, Birutis and Edgaras Ulanovas increased it to 11-7. Deividas Sirvydis connected from long range, Ulanovas made three free throws and Lukas Lekavicius added a floater, 19-10.

Ignas Brazdeikis and Sylvain Francisco scored on free throws, Arnas Butkevicius made a layup, Brady Manek hit a three-pointer and Walker IV added five more points, 32-17. Ulanovas and Francisco scored each, Butkevicius made his free throws, while Sirvydis and Francisco hit a three-pointer and Birutis finished the first half with two points, 46-23.

Dovydas Giedraitis had two successful drives to the basket right after the break, Butkevicius hit a three-pointer, Birutis dunked it twice and Brazdeikis made a two-pointer, 59-38. Mantas Juzenas, Sirvydis and Manek each hit a three-pointer, and Francisco scored five points in a row, 73-48.

Alen Smailagic scored four points, Francisco made two more free throws and Manek added eight points in a row, 87-48. Juzenas made a tough shot, Birutis scored six points, Brazdeikis added four, and Butkevicius finished the fast break with a dunk, 101-64.

Birutis was the leading scorer with 16 points. Manek collected 14 points, Francisco finished the game with 13 points and 10 assists.
