Zalgiris Kaunas, together with the globally recognized fashion brand Broken Planet, presents a new collaborative collection Zalgiris x Broken Planet.

The collection will be launched on May 23 at a POP‑UP event taking place at Zalgirio Arena from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, where visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase items from the collection.

Broken Planet is a global brand founded by Lithuanians Indre Narbutaite and Lukas Zvikas, best known for its success in the United Kingdom and for designs inspired by space-related elements.

On the Zalgiris TV podcast, available on Zalgiris’ YouTube channel, host Laura Dragunaite spoke with the founders of Broken Planet, who shared their vision behind the new collection.

“We’ve been thinking about this idea for a long time – around a couple of years – and now everything has come together. We held a POP‑UP in Lithuania two years ago and received so much love that we wanted to create something even better and incorporate Lithuanian heritage. Whenever we say abroad that we’re from Lithuania, people associate us with basketball – all the famous names come up. We often joke that we are recognized either for Broken Planet or for basketball, and since Zalgiris is the biggest team in Lithuania, the collaboration felt obvious,” said the founders.

Throughout its history, Broken Planet has been involved in high-profile collaborations, including a photoshoot with IShowSpeed and projects with global music artists such as D‑Block Europe and the Rolling Loud festival.

“This is our first step into the world of sports, but everything aligned perfectly – our brand also uses neon green tones, just like Zalgiris. The alien is one of our newer characters, and we wanted to introduce it here – this will be the first time we feature it at a POP‑UP. With Zalgiris, we are also presenting a new part of our universe. We managed to merge both brands’ identities,” added Narbutaite and Zvikas.
