Zalgiris Kaunas (13-15) lost a thriller in the EuroLeague Round 28. Andrea Trinchieri’s team missed the last shot against Baskonia Vitoria (12-16) on the road, and lost the game 65-66 (12-18, 18-20, 13-10, 22-18).

Zalgiris Kaunas (17-2) needed an overtime, but Andrea Trinchieri’s team took another victory in the Betsafe-LKL Championship. Uniclub Bet - Juventus Utena (10-9) was defeated by 84-81 (21-13, 20-22, 18-22, 11-13, 14-11) at Zalgirio Arena.

A pair of excellent individual performances in key wins on back-to-back nights at the same venue, Belgrade Arena, has seen Zalgiris Kaunas guard Sylvain Francisco and Partizan Belgrade guard Carlik Jones secure Round 27 co-MVP honors.
