Zalgiris Kaunas head coach Andrea Trinchieri confirmed that newcomer Lonnie Walker IV is ready to make his debut against FC Bayern Munich on Thursday.

New Zalgiris Kaunas guard Lonnie Walker IV has arrived in Lithuania and is already putting in the work during practices to catch up with his new team.

Zalgiris Kaunas (5-2) ended the week with their third win. On Sunday, Andrea Trinchieri’s team defeated Uniclub Bet - Juventus Utena (3-4) by 84-67 (20-9, 20-22, 21-10, 23-26) at Zalgirio Arena.

In a thriller that went down to the final second, Zalgiris Kaunas edged AS Monaco 63-62 (20-11, 14-14, 9-18, 20-19)  at Zalgirio Arena in Round 7 on Friday.

Zalgiris Kaunas adds a player with significant NBA experience. The club signed 25-year-old American guard Lonnie Walker IV until the end of the season.

Zalgiris Kaunas (5-1) defeated Crvena Zvezda Belgrade (3-3) by 86-84 (24-18, 23-15, 19-24, 20,-27) in EuroLeague Round 6, with Bryant Dunston becoming the hero after scoring the game-winning basket.

Zalgiris Kaunas (4-2) suffered the second defeat in the Betsafe-LKL Championship. The team coached by Tautvydas Sabonis, who replaced the ill Andrea Trinchieri, lost to Wolves Twinsbet Vilnius (3-3) by 82-100 (20-20, 18-23, 14-32, 30-25) on the road.

Zalgiris Kaunas extended its winning streak to three games by defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv 78-63 (26-7, 18-17, 15-22, 19-17) in the EuroLeague Round 5 at a packed Zalgirio Arena.
